Richie Benaud named Sport Australia Hall of Fame Legend

Richie Benaud will be posthumously honoured as ‘Legend’ by Sport Australia Hall of Fame.

Benaud, a former Aussie skipper, became one of the most loved voices of cricket after he retired from International cricket.

He will be the 40th Legend of Australian Sport and the third cricketer to be bestowed the prestigious annual honour.

First Regional Conference on 'Women in Detention and Access to Justice' in Shimla

The Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Acharya Devvrat inaugurated the 2-day First ever Regional Conference on ‘Women in Detention and Access to Justice’ at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

It was organized by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with Prison Department, Himachal Pradesh.

Karnataka govt unveils ‘Unnati’ scheme to help entrepreneurs

Karnataka state government,unveils the Unnati scheme a scheme to foster entrepreneurs working on rural and social impact technologies.

As part of the scheme, the department will invest up to Rs 20 crore to create end-to-end support infrastructure for start-ups and entrepreneurs from a marginalised background.
