Vinesh Phogat created history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal at the Asian Games.

Vinesh Phogat beat Japan's Yuki Irie in the final of the women's 50kg wrestling category at 18th edition of the Asian Games 2018.

Vinesh defeated Yuki Irie 6-2 in the 50kg category. Vinesh Phogat won India's second gold in this year's Asian Games 2018.
